SOS@PULSTAR

  • The nEDM@SNS apparatus will take 2-3 months to cooldown and warm back up again.
  • A number of development efforts (quality tests of production measurement cells, development of spin dressing operational
techniques, and study/optimization of several systematic effects) require frequent thermal cycles.
  • These efforts can be carried out much more expeditiously at a smaller satellite apparatus being constructed at the North Carolina State University PULSTAR reactor.
